CULTURED SALTWATER AKOYA PEARLS & CULTURED FRESHWATER PEARLS

Saltwater Akoya cultured Pearls - the ultimate treasure. Akoya pearls are cultured saltwater pearls that are cultivated in oysters in China. Akoya pearls are the pearls most often used in necklaces due to their high shine and reflective quality. Akoya pearls also tend to be consistently round, making them ideal for matching of multi-pearl jewelry as the necklaces you see below. We offer Akoya Pearls in dyed black and natural white color. Saltwater pearls are more expensive than freshwater pearls as you only get 1 pearl per oyster. Freshwater cultured pearls are grown in mussels and consist mostly of nacre. Todays Pearl necklace is tomorrows family heirloom! Pearls are perfect for all occasions. They can be worn with evening gowns or jeans. Our pearls are available in pearl sizes from 4 to 8 mm and necklaces in 16, 18, 20 and 24 inch lengths. Pearl bracelet lengths of 7 and 7.5 inch are available for your pearl jewelry set.
