SHIPPING AND HANDLING
ORDERS ARE SHIPPED VIA THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE
Your order will be shipped as soon as possible from the time we receive your order. Shipping is via US Postal Service Insured Mail. The mail room will E-mail you shipping information when your package is shipped. Once an item is mailed we cannot guarantee or predict the date of delivery. The post office delivers most items in a timely fashion, however, they have delays for unknown reasons on other packages. If it is out of stock and we can obtain the item within a week, we ship as soon as the item arrives in stock. We will e-mail you if an item is expected to be out of stock for more than one week.
In the event the post office does not deliver a package within 25 days, we may reship. We do not reship for 25 days as the post office requires a 20 day waiting period to file a claim and the post office needs time to locate lost packages with their recall system. If your package gets lost we ask that you remain calm and work with us and the post office to resolve the issue. All packages are insured and have tracking to make finding the package easier.
If you wish to have your order shipped via UPS within the Continental United States, send us an E-mail with the amount of your order and the zip code that it will be going to and the appox weight of the package and we will send you E-mail with the approx. charges for your order. You can also go to the UPS web site to determine cost. We ship from zip code 08204.
OVERNIGHT DELIVERY VIA USPS
Should you wish overnight delivery through the postal service, it is a good idea to e-mail us to see if the item is in stock. The post office delivers to many locations overnight but there are locations where overnight takes 2 days for the post office to deliver to. The post office considers getting a package to you in two days the same as overnight delivery. Some locations also do not have weekend service by the post office. We ship from zip code 08204. This area is considered a rural area by the post office.
If you live outside the Continental United States and need International shipping of your Order OR wish to have your order shipped by any other method than U.S. Postal Service or UPS, please send an E-mail to info @ jewelryvilla . com to find out what the shipping charges will be. Fedex delivery is not possible as there is no Fedex office in our locale.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
If an item is out of stock, we will send you an e-mail with the likely shipping date if the item will be out of stock for more than one week. Out of stock items are usually received within 2 weeks and then shipped out to you. Of course, sometimes it takes longer. If an item is out of stock and the manufacturer or distributor is also out of stock it may take 3 or more months for an item to come into stock.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY OF A PACKAGE BY A CERTAIN DATE:
We do not guarantee the date you will receive your package as once we deliver the package to the shipper, the delivery date is out of our control. If the package gets lost by the shipper we will file an insurance claim from day 20-25 after we mailed the original package to you.
